Culture and Climate Supportiveness: A Developmental Analysis

Abstract


In this study an attempt was made to find out the pattern of home and school climate of the children of tribal and non tribal society. It was contended that variation in cultural setup would cause variation in home and school climate supportiveness. At first nine hundred participants were taken in consideration. After using proper experimental design (4x2 factorial design) only 480 participants were remained. This process was done by using home climate supportiveness scale and school climate supportiveness scale. It was found that:

1. Data was normally distributed
2. Cultural difference was noticed
3. Dimensions were closely related
4. Sex related discrepancy was visited
5. Inter correlations were quite high
