Procedural, Interactional and Distributive Justice to Amplify Ccommitment of Public Sector Employees in Nigeria
This paper investigates the influence of organizational justice on the commitment of workers in the Nigerian civil service. This is because, evidence have shown that, there is lack of commitment among civil servants in the country. Questionnaire was used to collect data from the three hundred and seventy seven workers selected through Stratified random sampling. The analysis was done with the aid of Partial Least Square PLS. The statistical results revealed that, all the three dimensions of organizational justice were positively related to organizational commitment. The implications of this finding to administrators and policy makers is that, for organizations to enhanced their worker’s commitment, fairness should be applied in all organizational procedures and employee’s welfare should appropriately looked into. Theoratically,the paper will aid the application of equity theory in the Nigeria civil service.
