Learning organization support in personal development improve to performance of public sector in case immigration department in Thailand

Abstract


The contribution of learning organizations to support employees’ personal development, enhance effectiveness that translates to organizational performance had been widely explored, however, not in the public sector such as the Immigration department in Thailand. With this, the researcher examined the validity and the reliability of the items used by prior scholars in other contexts among the immigration officials in Thailand. To achieve the objective set, the researcher adopts a quantitative survey research method in which adapted questionnaires were self-administered to the selected samples. A total of 195 useable questionnaires was retrieved from the selected respondents. The data gathered was analyzed using SPSS version 24. The analysis conducted includes factor analysis and reliability test. The analysis results present the items used proves to be valid and have high internal consistency in the context of this study.
