“Corporate Social Responsibility in Family Business –A case study of Tata Steel”
Corporate social responsibility is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. Corporate Social Responsibility is becoming an important activity to businesses nationally and internationally. Different Tata companies have been actively involved in various social work, Tata steel is one of them. In the light of this background, the objective of my paper is to analyse the Corporate Social Responsibility activities performed by Tata Steel from 2009 to 2013 towards rural areas and furthermore to find the Performance of Corporate Social Responsibility practices of Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS), the Tata Steel Family Initiative Foundation (TSFIF) and the Tribal Cultural Society (TCS) for the same period
