Quality of Community College Graduates: Evaluation By The Employer

Abstract


Increase the quality of education and the parallels with the current change is a strategy that is able to realize the national vision and market needs. Community colleges offer courses relevant to industry needs and strengthen the strategic networks which aim to produce competitive students. Therefore, the objective of the study to assess the quality of community college graduates in the labour demands of employers. A total of 140 employers to assess community college graduates through a survey form. Descriptive statistics (mean) is used in data analysis. The study found that the majority of employers at a good rate in terms of areas of specialization, communication, information technology, leadership, teamwork, ethics and values. While the medium-level, decision making and problem solving, work planning, thinking skills, innovation and proficiency in English.
